Make sure to choose a headstone that complies with the cemetery’s size and thickness guidelines. Some cemeteries will have their headstone requirements and restrictions listed on their website while other cemeteries don’t have a working website. 2. What Style of Headstones Do You Offer?
At Cache Valley Monuments, we offer a diverse selection of headstone styles. We also provide custom styles upon request, allowing you to personalize your memorial. Some of the most popular styles of headstones and monuments include the following:

3. What Type of Material Do You Offer?
Cache Valley Monuments provides three material options: Granite, Marblem and Bronze Headstones. All three materials are durable and suitable for creating lasting memorials. However, ninety percent of the headstones we produce are made from granite.
4. Is Paint Allowed on the Headstone?
We offer engraving paint for the stones we produce. If you prefer not to have paint, please mention it to our staff. Rest assured that all paint used is specifically designed for monuments.
5. Are Cement Foundations Required?
It varies per cemetery. Most cemeteries do require some type of foundation, whether it’s cement or granite. Check with the cemetery to ensure you abide by their specific requirements. We can create any size cement or granite foundation. Foundations also offer protection from lawn mowers and weed eaters.
6. What Type of Artwork Can I Get on a Headstone?
Choose from our extensive collection of clip art designs for your headstone. We have thousands of designs in our collection. Simply let our staff know what you’d like on the headstone and we will create a digital rendings with your requested designs and email it to you for your approval. We can do as many iterations of the headstone design as needed.
7. What Are the Granite Color Options?
Cache Valley Monuments offers a wide range of granite colors to suit your preferences. Below is a list of the most popular granite colors for headstones:

8. Do You Need Our Cemetery Plot Information?
Ideally, yes. If you do not have your cemetery plot information available, please reach out to the cemetery to get the plot details so we can place the headstone over the proper graves. For cemeteries we service, our staff will contact the cemetery staff and coordinate plot details and make sure the installation process is as seamless as possible.
9. Does it Cost to Get a Headstone Proof?
No, our graphic design team offers quick turnaround times on headstone proofs/renderings free of charge. Typically within 2-3 business days.
10. Are Pictures Allowed on a Headstone?
At Cache Valley Monuments, we offer permanent kiln-fired ceramic photos. You can reproduce any original photo or scanned image onto oval, square, or rectangular ceramic tiles, creating a lasting memorial. The granite is sand-carved to fit the ceramic, ensuring it is flush with the surface and protected against the elements and vandalism.
Note: Ceramic orders may take up to 8 weeks for production.
